The SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary has been popular since its release for its high basic performance and high image quality, and it maintains that performance while achieving a compact filter diameter of 67mm and a weight of 1160g for a 400mm class zoom. This compact and lightweight body is equipped with all the elements necessary for a super-telephoto lens, including an OS (Optical Stabilizer) mechanism that uses an acceleration sensor to compensate for camera shake, an HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor) ultrasonic motor that uses the latest algorithms to achieve high-speed auto-focusing, and a focus limiter. The lens is equipped with all the elements necessary for an ultra-telephoto lens. Of course, it is also fully spec'd with expandability using the SIGMA USB DOCK.

- Compact yet uncompromised image quality
While the lens is compact, the pursuit of image quality is uncompromised: aberrations are corrected through the use of four SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements and the optimization of the lens power configuration.
