This large-aperture, medium-telephoto lens offers a three-dimensional effect and soft bokeh thanks to the brightness of the F1.2 "NOCTICRON" maximum aperture, which meets Leica's strict optical standards, and the use of a 9-blade circular aperture. The focal length of 42.5mm (85mm on a 35mm film camera) allows the photographer to capture subjects as they appear in detail with a natural sense of perspective, making it a powerful lens for portrait photography.
High-speed, high-precision contrast AF with F1.2 large-aperture lens
By adopting an inner-focusing system and a screw-integrated stepping motor drive system, a contrast AF system with a high focus accuracy is achieved at a high speed (240 fps).
Optical Image Stabilizer POWER O.I.S.
