This standard zoom lens features an advanced optical design with 10 elements in 9 groups, including 3 aspherical lens elements and 2 ED lens elements, to achieve a compact and lightweight design with an overall length of 44.2mm and a weight of 135g while providing high resolution performance.
- Covers frequently used focal lengths
The lens covers the frequently used focal length range from 23mm at the wide-angle end to 69mm at the mid-telephoto end, making it ideal for landscape and portrait photography. At the wide-angle end (equivalent to 23mm), the wide angle of view allows users to enjoy shooting multiple people, such as friends and family, as well as “self portraits” that include the background.
- Capture close-up images up to 5 cm from the lens tip
At the wide-angle end (equivalent to 23mm), close-up shooting is possible up to 5cm from the tip of the lens, providing a maximum magnification of 0.24x. It is also suitable for photographing food and small objects.
- Motorized zoom function for comfortable operation
This lens has a retractable structure. The lens is equipped with a motorized zoom function for the first time, which automatically extends the lens to the shooting position when the power is turned on, allowing you to enjoy smooth shooting.
The motorized zoom speed can be switched between low and high by operating the zoom ring. This allows for smooth zooming operation at a constant speed, which is very useful when shooting video.

The camera is equipped with a 3.0-stop optical image stabilization function that complies with CIPA guidelines to support hand-held shooting in dark scenes.
- High-speed and silent AF
The focus lens is driven by a stepping motor for fast and silent autofocusing.
*When this lens is used in combination with a camera model other than “FUJIFILM X-A5,” it sinks when the camera body sleeps and returns to its initial position, equivalent to 23mm at the wide-angle end, after restarting. Therefore, the “interval timer shooting” function, which automatically takes pictures continuously at set intervals, can only be used when shooting at the 23mm equivalent wide-angle end.
