The camera provides a CIPA-compliant image stabilization performance of 5.0 stops. The GFX series' high resolution can be fully exploited even when shooting hand-held with telephoto zoom lenses, which are susceptible to camera shake.

- Fast, silent, and highly accurate AF
The GFX series is equipped with a linear motor for fast, quiet, and highly accurate autofocusing. A mechanical mechanism is employed to hold the linear motor in place when the power is turned off or when playing back photos. This mechanism suppresses unnecessary vibrations, just as it does during shooting.

- Toughness to withstand a wide range of shooting environments
