Basic Information

Product Name Camera Lens GF20-35mmF4 R WR [FUJIFILM G/zoom lens]
Model No. FGF20-35MMF4RWR

Product Features

A zoom lens with a focal length of 20mm (equivalent to 16mm in 35mm format), the widest angle in the history of GF lenses, to expand the wide-angle shooting range.

Combined with the GFX series, the lens fully exploits the performance of the large-format sensor to deliver ultra-high image quality.

Furthermore, by taking advantage of the ultra-wide angle of view, the lens can precisely depict scenes rich in information, such as natural landscapes and urban landscapes that unfold before your eyes.

- Zoom lens that expands the wide-angle shooting range of the "GF Lens" in pursuit of high image quality

This zoom lens covers a focal length range from 20mm (equivalent to 16mm on the 35mm film format) to 35mm (equivalent to 28mm on the 35mm film format), the widest angle in the history of the "GF Lens," enabling photographers to capture scenes rich in information, such as natural and urban landscapes, and to make the most of perspective.

The 10-group, 14-element lens construction with a total of seven aspherical and ED lens elements suppresses distortion and chromatic aberration to achieve high resolution performance. The lens is capable of capturing the information reflected in a large background in high resolution.

Our proprietary nano-GI coating technology suppresses light reflection by gently controlling the refractive index of light incident on the lens. In addition, a special coating is applied to the concave lens surface, which has a large curvature, to even out the thickness of the lens film and reduce ghosting and flare characteristic of wide-angle lenses.

- Compact and lightweight for high mobility

In addition to optimizing the lens configuration, the short flange back of mirrorless digital cameras is utilized to the maximum extent. Despite being an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens with a maximum aperture of F4 across the entire focal length range, it is compact and lightweight, weighing approximately 725g and measuring approximately 112.5mm in length. It reduces the burden of carrying it attached to the camera for comfortable shooting.

A versatile 82mm filter diameter is adopted. A wide variety of filters can be used to enjoy landscape photography.

Magnesium alloy is used for the lens components to achieve both light weight and high rigidity. In addition, the shape of the lens components has been reviewed and the lens barrel has been slimmed down to provide a high degree of holdability.

An inner zoom lens is adopted to keep the overall length of the lens constant. The inner zoom lens is lightweight and enables comfortable zooming.

- Dustproof, drip-proof, and -10°C low-temperature resistant construction for toughness performance

The lens barrel is dustproof, drip-proof, and resistant to temperatures as low as -10°C (-22°F), with seals in 12 locations. In addition, the front element of the lens is coated with fluorine to provide water and stain repellency. The lens can be used in harsh environments such as snow fields and the tropics, as well as in bad weather conditions.
