With a focal length equivalent to 18mm (35mm film format equivalent), this ultra-wide-angle lens is ideal for shooting natural landscapes and architectural structures.

The 12-group 15-element construction with 2 aspherical lenses, 1 super ED lens, and 3 ED lenses minimizes distortion to the extreme despite the 99.9° angle of view. In addition, by optimally arranging the various lenses, lateral chromatic aberration is thoroughly suppressed, resulting in high resolution performance throughout the entire image range.
- Nano GI coating suppresses ghost flare
The lens features a nano-GI coating that is effective against light rays entering the lens from oblique angles. This coating effectively suppresses ghost flare while allowing the photographer to enjoy the wide angle of view that only an ultra-wide-angle lens can provide.
- Fast and silent AF optimally designed for mirrorless systems
Adopts an inner focus system. By reducing the weight of the focus lens and using a linear motor to drive it, the lens achieves fast and silent autofocusing for comfortable shooting.
