The SIGMA 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports is a full-size, mirrorless camera-exclusive all-in-one telephoto zoom with the unique 60-600mm specification. The latest optical design delivers high optical performance throughout the entire zoom range, even at 10x zoom. It is capable of capturing any scene in high definition. The newly developed linear motor "HLA (High-response Linear Actuator)" delivers unprecedented high-speed and high-precision AF. In addition, the newly developed OS2 algorithm enables image stabilization of 7 stops at the wide end and 6 stops at the telephoto end. This allows the photographer to capture the "moment" with a rich sense of dynamism. Of course, the camera is also equipped with dual action zoom, dustproof and drip-proof construction, and a wealth of customizable functions to meet the needs of all shooting environments and situations, as well as the full range of specifications of the Sports line.

This product is a 10x super-telephoto zoom lens exclusively for full-size mirrorless cameras, covering a zoom range of 60-600mm, a range that only SIGMA offers. In air show photography and sports photography, you can seamlessly capture scenes from close-up to long distance with a single lens.

- Stable and high optical performance throughout the entire zoom range

To take full advantage of the wide zoom range of 60-600mm, optical performance throughout the entire zoom range has been pursued, and the latest optical design, which effectively arranges various glass materials such as FLD glass and SLD glass, has been used to correct chromatic aberrations that tend to occur in the ultra-telephoto range. The wide shooting range of 60-600mm allows you to capture every moment with uncompromising high image quality.

The minimum focusing distance at the wide end is 45cm, and at a focal length of 200mm, the maximum magnification is 1:2.4, allowing the user to enjoy the lens as a telephoto macro.

The newly developed "HLA (High-response Linear Actuator)" linear motor is used as the actuator. The high output linear motor and advanced electronic control realize unprecedentedly fast, accurate, and quiet AF. The camera's high focus-following performance for shooting fast-moving sports, vehicles, birds, and other objects ensures that you will not miss the decisive moment.

- Newly developed "OS2" image stabilization algorithm with high image stabilization performance of up to 7 stops

The Optical Stabilizer (OS) mechanism employs the newly developed OS2 algorithm. The newly developed OS2 algorithm significantly improves the image stabilization performance, achieving a correction of 7 stops at the wide end and 6 stops at the telephoto end. The camera captures powerful and dynamic moments with a rich sense of motion.

The camera is equipped with two correction modes: image stabilization mode 1, which is suitable for general shooting, and image stabilization mode 2, which is ideal for streaming shots of motor sports and other events. In Mode 2, the camera's acceleration sensor and Intelligent OS, an algorithm specially designed for fluid shooting, enable effective image stabilization even when the camera is moved vertically or diagonally, regardless of the horizontal or vertical position of the composition, so that the movement of the subject can be expressed without compromising the effects of fluid shooting.

- Multi-material structure for weight reduction and robustness

A "multi-material structure" is employed, in which materials such as magnesium, CFRP*1, and TSC*2 are optimally arranged in various locations while taking their respective characteristics into consideration. The optical tube, which is lighter in weight than previous models and has the same robustness as previous models, provides high versatility in a variety of situations and applications.

Dual Action Zoom" is compatible with both rotary zoom using the zoom ring and direct-action zoom operated by grasping the tip of the lens. The dual-action zoom allows for both delicate operation with the rotary zoom and quick operation with the linear zoom.

- Dustproof and drip-proof construction for various shooting situations

The mount joint, manual ring, zoom ring, custom switches and other control switches, switch panel, and exterior joints are all dustproof and drip-proofed* to prevent dust and dirt from entering.

The front of the lens is coated with a water and stain repellent coating to facilitate maintenance when water drops or dust adhere to the lens.
