Since its birth in 1995, the 6900 series has been a long-selling, iconic model representing G-SHOCK. This special model commemorates its 30th anniversary.
The G-SHOCK 6900 series features a round case with front buttons and a circular triple graphic design.
It continues to produce diverse variations while blending with various cultures worldwide, including street and sports scenes.
Following the February 1995 release of the first model, the DW-6900, the DW-6900H debuted as the first color variation model, offering black, red, and yellow. It gained popularity among fans enjoying skateboarding and other activities.
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 6900 series, the lineup features the three colors—black, red, and yellow—originally adopted for the DW-6900H.
This recreates the foundational colors of the 6900 series, which has offered diverse styles since its 1995 birth.
Furthermore, befitting a 30th anniversary model, each part features special specifications.
The front button, a design icon of the 6900 series, is now metal. The “G” mark engraved on its mirror-finished surface exudes a powerful presence within the rounded form.
When the backlight illuminates, evolving from EL to LED, “SINCE1995” appears on the LCD, marking the series' debut year.
Furthermore, the case back, engraved with the SHOCK RESIST mark, features a layout of 30 ★ marks commemorating the 30th anniversary of the 6900 series.
The packaging pays homage to the DW-6900H's design, featuring the “G” mark motif.
The special design incorporates three colors: black, red, and yellow.
Furthermore, biomass plastic, expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact, is used for key resin parts like the bezel and band.
This special specification design celebrates the 6900 series' anniversary year.
