Product Description
A new series of watches with further evolution is born from MT-G, which is equipped with advanced technology and the functional beauty of a shock-resistant body that fuses metal and resin. The MTG-B2000 is now available, achieving an evolution of metal design and weight reduction through the adoption of a new shock-resistant structure.
In addition to metal and resin, the new model utilizes carbon materials and a newly developed "Dual Core Guard Structure" in which the module is protected by an integrally structured carbon monocoque case and covered by metal parts on the outside. The "Dual Core Guard Structure" was newly developed to further enhance shock resistance.
In addition, the band structure incorporates fine resin parts in a hollow muku piece, "realizing sophisticated functional beauty. Separate metal frame and bezel allow for high-impact coloring. The metal parts that make up the exterior have a mirror finish, pursuing the beauty of finishing that is the essence of a watch. The side buttons also have a guardless structure. In addition, the use of highly transparent sapphire glass and the delicate engravings on the indexes and inner dials, created by Casio's Yamagata factory's fine processing technology, further enhance the quality of the watch.
In terms of functionality, the watch supports time correction via BluetoothⓇ connection. The watch is connected to the dedicated "G-SHOCK Connected*" application via a smartphone link using the Bluetooth® communication function, and the time can be corrected without any button operation as long as the smartphone is nearby. The time information is retrieved from a time server on the Internet and automatically adjusted to the local time when the user moves across time zones. In addition, the watch is equipped with multi-band 6, which is compatible with the standard radio waves of six stations around the world, and automatically corrects the time without the need to connect to a smartphone in compatible areas, thus displaying accurate time around the world. In addition, the watch is equipped with practical functions such as a high-luminance LED light, dual time and stopwatch as basic functions of the main body, and these can be driven stably by Casio's unique "Tough Solar" solar power generation system.
The MT-G is now even more advanced, with a new shock-resistant structure that combines metal and carbon, and a module that pursues beauty and accurate timekeeping, the very essence of a watch.
*Modules An application exclusively for the G-SHOCK Smartphone Link model. Connects to a "Connected Engine" that supports BluetoothⓇ connection for automatic time correction, world time, and other time settings in conjunction with a smartphone, displaying the time around the world and reflecting the latest time zone and daylight saving time information. Equipped with Tough Solar for solar-powered operation of strongly-loaded functions.
