Based on the full metal model "GMW-B5000" that inherits the genes of the first generation G-SHOCK "DW-5000C". This black-colored model was designed under the theme of "multi-finished black," making full use of black IP and various finishing processes.
The bezel and band make extensive use of honing while the sides have a hairline finish. The bezel, band, screws, buttons, and other parts are mirror-finished, and then treated with black IP to create a design that allows the wearer to enjoy the texture of black created by the different finishes. In addition, the top surface of the bezel is re-polished to expose the underlying stainless steel. In order to harmonize with the color of the top surface of the bezel, the black IP is one step lighter than that of the GMW-B5000GD-1JF.
