G-SHOCK sports line "G-SQUAD" is now available in new colors from GBD-100 equipped with a smartphone link function. The G-SQUAD GBD-100 is a new color scheme based on black and white with vivid light-collecting resin and skeleton resin to create a bright image, making it even more enjoyable to wear during activities. In terms of functionality, the GBD-100 is connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth®. By linking with the GPS function of a smartphone, the distance measured by the acceleration sensor can be corrected. Once the distance is corrected, the watch can measure the distance more accurately the next time it is used alone. By linking the distance measurement with the running time measurement, the watch can measure the running pace and is also equipped with an auto-lap function that automatically measures the time each time a certain distance is traveled. Together with the conventional step tracker (step counting function), interval timer (max. 5 steps x 20 sets), lap time measurement (max. 140 laps x 100 runs), and calorie consumption measurement, the watch supports daily training.
In addition, a new dedicated application has been developed to help users manage various settings of the watch and training. In addition to checking the lifelog and activity history, it can also automatically create a training plan that matches the set goals.
The display features a high-definition MIP LCD. It is also equipped with a super illuminator to ensure visibility in dark areas. The band has a large number of holes for fine fitting adjustment.
