The "G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary REMASTER BLACK" series is a limited edition model of G-SHOCK, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2023.
The name of the past 40 years' models are engraved on the band, inspired by milestones and stone monuments, and the entire watch is finished in all black. The side buttons are engraved with a star mark, and the bezel and band are made of biomass plastic.
The backlight and caseback feature the 40th logo designed by Eric Hays, who also designed G-Shock's 25th, 30th, and 35th logos, and a star symbol representing the number "40" is engraved on the ring.
The watch comes with an interchangeable bezel, allowing the wearer to enjoy two different designs in one model.
