�¡A new model of the "MANASLU" series, a high-end model of the authentic outdoor gear "PRO TREK," is being released. Named after "Manaslu," an 8163m-high mountain also known as the "Mountain of Spirits," which was first successfully summited by a Japanese team in 1956.

�¡This model features DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating on the bezel, band, crown, buttons, and case back for improved wear resistance.

�¡Titanium is used for the main metal parts (outer bezel, band, and case back), achieving both strength and lightness.

�¡The base model, the PRX-8000, was developed incorporating advice from Hirotaka Takeuchi, a PRO TREK ambassador and the only Japanese person to have summited all 14 of the world's 8000m peaks.

�¡In the harsh conditions of 8000m peak ascents, time and measured values ??are the most important information, hence the black dial with large, easy-to-read white indices and hands.


�¡Other markings are intentionally placed and color-coded to be inconspicuous, making it easier to read the time and measurement data on the LCD.

�¡To make it easy to check the time even in low-oxygen conditions or bad weather where consciousness may be impaired, the index at the 12 o'clock position has a distinctive shape, and an arrow is engraved on the base of the band.

�¡The hour and minute hands, which are enlarged using carbon material and have different shapes, and the index is treated with double luminous coating, making it easy to read the time even at night, supporting activities in extreme conditions.

�¡The band features a double-lock, one-push three-fold clasp with an adjustment mechanism that allows for easy adjustment of the band length by up to approximately 6 mm without the need for a special tool, allowing it to be worn even over inner gloves.

�¡The range of motion of the joint mechanism connecting the band and case has been increased to make it easier to put on and take off.

�¡The crystal is made of scratch-resistant and highly visible sapphire glass, creating a sense of quality along with functionality.

�¡ Equipped with Triple Sensor Ver.3*, which dramatically improves measurement accuracy and feel, this watch also features numerous practical functions such as Multi-Band 6 (receives radio waves from 6 stations worldwide), Tough Solar power, and a barometric pressure trend information alarm that alerts the user to significant changes such as sudden drops or rises in barometric pressure.

*Triple Sensor Ver.3:
Equipped with a newly developed miniature magnetic sensor that achieves a 95% reduction in size, and a pressure sensor with improved measurement accuracy.
By combining this new sensor with Casio's proprietary sensor IC with improved processing capabilities, the functionality of the Triple Sensor has been dramatically improved.

**If radio wave reception is not possible, it operates with normal quartz accuracy (average monthly difference of �}15 seconds).

***The barometer is a relative altimeter that converts changes in barometric pressure into altitude.
If barometric pressure changes due to weather conditions, the measured altitude will also change.
