The PRO TREK PRW-B1000, a true outdoor watch designed for use in the great outdoors, now comes in a new color inspired by the bluish scenery of Yosemite. The distinctive square stainless steel bezel, reminiscent of Yosemite's rock faces, is adorned in a light blue, with matching accents on the sub-dial parts. The watch expresses the serene blue of the clear air and granite in a sophisticated yet active way.
The design symbolizes respect for nature and a spirit of adventure. The small hand at the 9 o'clock position is modeled after a piton used by rock climbers of yesteryear, highlighting its authentic details. Tough Solar power generates electricity even from weak light sources such as fluorescent lamps, ensuring stable operation of functions such as radio wave reception and the light. This reduces worries about battery depletion during long trekking or camping trips.
The watch supports 2-way automatic time correction, receiving standard radio waves from 6 stations worldwide (2 in Japan, China, North America, the UK, and Germany) via Multi-Band 6 and Bluetooth? connection. The PRO TREK series' only combination of features ensures consistently accurate timekeeping. Equipped with a triple sensor (compass, barometer, and temperature), it accurately measures direction, barometer, altitude, and temperature. Large buttons ensure reliable operation even while wearing gloves.
When paired with a smartphone, features such as automatic altitude correction, a location indicator showing direction and distance to your destination, and a route log to record your activities become available. Alarms and timers can also be intuitively set via the app. Furthermore, it features a high-brightness, fully automatic double LED light; simply tilting your wrist illuminates both the analog dial and digital display, ensuring visibility in dark places or when both hands are occupied.
With careful consideration given to materials, the case uses flame-retardant grade biomass plastic, and the band uses CORDURA re/cor?. These environmentally conscious materials cater to those who love nature. Combined with 10 ATM water resistance, this watch condenses reliable functionality and practicality, suitable for everything from camping to serious mountaineering.
