Product Features
The “FROGMAN” is a professional diver's watch featuring ISO-certified water resistance to 200 meters, designed with the Three-striped Poison Frog* as its motif.
Inspired by the vertically striped Three-striped Poison Frog found in the rainforests of South America, it embodies the frog’s toughness and unique warning colors.
Featuring a black base accented with bold fluorescent green vertical stripes, the design is vibrant and rugged, symbolizing the Three-striped Poison Frog’s potent toxicity. The texture of its bumpy skin is recreated through spray-painted finishes on the band and bezel. Furthermore, the frog character engraving on the case back—an essential feature of the FROGMAN series—has been specially designed to feature the vertical stripes of the Misuji Poison Dart Frog. Equipped with Tough Solar, it generates power even from the faintest fluorescent light, ensuring stable operation of various high-demand functions. This eliminates the hassle of regular battery replacement.
* Biomass plastic is used for the main resin parts of the bezel and band. Made from renewable organic resources, it is expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact.
* The name derives from the fact that the poison was extracted and applied to blow darts for hunting and other purposes.
