- An F/2.8-4.0 "LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT" lens with a maximum aperture of 2.8-4.0 that delivers excellent image quality all the way to the periphery of the picture plane across the entire zoom range.
This lens meets Leica's strict optical standards and achieves an F2.8-4.0 "ELMARIT" brightness. The optimum arrangement of four aspherical lens elements, including one aspherical ED lens element, provides excellent descriptive performance throughout the entire zoom range. In addition, the nanosurface coating reduces ghosting and flare.
