This compact lens features a new dustproof and drip-proof construction while maintaining the excellent optical performance of previous models.

Highly practical with improved image stabilization function and operability. It delivers high image quality in a wide range of shooting situations, including landscapes and snapshots.

- Excellent optical performance
・The lens is composed of 14 elements in 10 groups, including 4 aspherical lens elements and 4 ED lens elements. The lens effectively corrects spherical aberration and chromatic aberration, and delivers high resolution from the center of the image to the periphery.
・The lens has a maximum aperture of 4.0 at all focal lengths from 10mm to 24mm (equivalent to 15mm to 36mm in 35mm format). ・This reduces the need to adjust exposure settings according to the angle of view, allowing you to enjoy shooting comfortably.
・Macro photography is possible by taking advantage of the minimum focusing distance of 24cm. The ultra-wide-angle lens allows you to take close-up shots of the subject while incorporating a large background to create powerful expressions that only an ultra-wide-angle lens can.

- High toughness performance
・The lens is newly designed to be dustproof, drip-proof, and resistant to temperatures as low as -10°C (-40°F). It can be used safely in outdoor environments where light rain or dust may be present.

- Enhanced image stabilization and a more compact and lightweight design support hand-held shooting.
・The new camera is equipped with a high-performance gyro sensor, which improves the image stabilization function by 1.0 stop over the previous model to achieve a 3.5-stop correction effect. In combination with the FUJIFILM X-T4, a mirrorless digital camera with in-body image stabilization, it provides 5-axis correction with up to 6.5 stops. This allows the user to take high-quality photographs even in low-light situations such as indoors or outdoors at night, where the camera is easily affected by camera shake.
・The lens weighs 25g less than the previous model, thanks to advanced mechanical design technology. The focus ring and zoom ring have also been reduced in diameter. The stylish design fits comfortably in the hand and supports hand-held shooting.

- Further improved operability for comfortable shooting
・The A (auto) position lock function, which is equipped on the interchangeable lenses for our GFX series digital cameras, has been adopted for the first time on the XF lenses. The aperture ring can be locked to prevent unintentional movement during shooting, making shooting more comfortable.
・A new aperture ring with an aperture indicator allows you to check the f-stop value and easily adjust it.

- Fast and silent AF
・The camera uses an inner-focusing system with a compact and lightweight focusing lens driven by a stepping motor to achieve fast and silent AF. In addition, the camera is compatible with the face and pupil AF functions of digital cameras. This function can capture a subject's momentary facial expression, making it a powerful tool for portrait photography.
