Product Features

Extremely superior optical performance that delivers high descriptive power. New-generation large-aperture wide-angle lens that demonstrates its power in a wide range of scenes

The newly adopted multi-focus system* provides quiet, high-speed, high-precision AF control and excellent image formation performance with effectively suppressed aberrations from infinity to close range. Furthermore, the use of two ED lenses effectively corrects axial chromatic aberration. Three aspherical lens elements suppress sagittal coma flare even at maximum aperture, resulting in high point image reproducibility. The natural, soft and beautiful bokeh effect of a large-aperture lens is also attractive.

*Multi-focus system: The position of the focus lens group is precisely controlled by the coordination of multiple AF drive units to achieve high image formation performance regardless of the shooting distance.
