A large-aperture wide-angle single-focal length lens with a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture and a focal length of 24mm*, compatible with the FX format, which allows you to enjoy large, beautiful bokeh effects. The minimum focusing distance is 0.23m, which is the shortest among NIKKOR lenses covering a focal length of 24mm. This enables close-up photography that brings the photographer closer to the subject. With a bright maximum aperture and short minimum focusing distance, even wide-angle lenses can provide photographic expression with a bokeh effect.
When mounted on a DX-format SLR camera, the angle of view is equivalent to that of a lens with a focal length of 36mm in 35mm format.

A total of seven lenses, ranging from the ultra-wide-angle 20mm to the medium-telephoto 85mm, are available in a wide variety of focal lengths. The lens series offers the appeal of a single focal length lens in terms of descriptive power and bokeh effect, and is more compact and lightweight than the 1.4 maximum aperture series, making it easy to carry and enjoy full-scale photography.
