Product Features
This full-metal model belongs to the analog “2100” series, developed inheriting the concept of the original G-SHOCK model “DW-5000C”.
It employs stainless steel for the screw-back case, bezel, and band, aiming for a simple, streamlined design while maintaining a shock-resistant structure that protects the module from impact during falls.
It also inherits the octagonal bezel shape and the dimpled band design featured on the DW-5000C, which debuted in 1983.
The GM-B2100AD-5A features a vibrant copper-colored vapor-deposited dial, while the GM-B2100SD-1A pairs a black dial with silver indices and hour/minute hands for high visibility.
High-density mounting technology enables a slim, high-performance module, achieving a thin profile.
We also focused on ensuring a comfortable fit.
The stainless steel bezel undergoes labor-intensive forging, cutting, and polishing processes to achieve a three-dimensional shape. The top surface features a circular hairline finish, while the beveled edges are beautifully mirror-polished.
A fine resin buffer material is implemented between the bezel and case, enabling a shock-resistant structure despite the metal exterior.
The dial features delicate shaping achieved through Casio Yamagata Factory's micro-machining technology, combined with vapor deposition processing for a high-quality finish.
The slim, high-performance digital/analog combination module connects to a dedicated app via Bluetooth® communication to acquire time information and keep precise time.
It also features practical functions like Tough Solar and a high-intensity double LED light.
