With an organic exterior form combining edgy parts and a newly developed shock release pin featuring two distinctive holes, this series embodies G-SHOCK's identity of relentlessly challenging conventions with innovative ideas in the quest for strength.
The module is protected by a center case covered with an outer part that integrates the bezel and band.
Large, three-dimensional indexes are positioned on the glass surface, acting as bumpers to absorb impact.
This achieves a unique and powerful exterior design while maintaining G-SHOCK's signature shock resistance.
We developed a magnetic holding structure that attaches the shock-sensitive hands using magnetic force, rather than fixing them to a shaft.
The shock-release hands (minute hand) attached via this structure are held magnetically, allowing them to deflect impacts.
Adopting this structure enables larger hands and greater design freedom.
*Due to the magnetic holding mechanism, the minute hand may sway under shock or vibration.
Additionally, immediately after impact or vibration, or when exposed to strong magnetic fields, the minute hand may temporarily shift position but will return to its correct position within a few minutes.
The analog-digital combination face features a layered structure combining an openwork dial (a technique creating openwork sections) with a full-screen LCD.
It boasts a distinctive design, including uniquely shaped hour and minute hands at the center and small hands laid out within the LCD.
