- With a 7.5x optical zoom, the lens covers a wide range of frequently-used focal lengths from 18mm wide-angle to 135mm telephoto (equivalent to 27-202.5mm in 35mm format), and with a compact and lightweight design weighing only 325g, it can be used with the α6500 and α6300 mirrorless SLR cameras to provide a highly mobile APS-C The lens is designed to be compact and lightweight, weighing approximately 325g.
- The new optical design with an aspherical lens and two ED (extra-low dispersion) glass elements delivers high image rendering performance throughout the entire zoom range, even to the periphery of the image. It also offers excellent close-up shooting performance with a minimum focusing distance of 0.45m and a maximum magnification of 0.29x. The built-in optical image stabilizer supports hand-held shooting.
