New-age Spring Drive GMT with ceramic bezel
This model is equipped with the third mechanism, Spring Drive, which is powered by the mainspring used in mechanical watches, but offers the same high precision as quartz watches, as well as a GMT display function. The second hand of a watch equipped with Spring Drive does not “tick” the time, but moves smoothly over the dial. The sweeping movement of the second hand created by this ingenious mechanism expresses the Japanese aesthetic sense that “time moves and flows. In consideration of more active use, the bezel is made of zirconia ceramic. Zirconia ceramics is a beautiful material with the highest strength and toughness among fine ceramics, and boasts excellent surface polishability. The bezel, which is the most vulnerable part of a wristwatch to scratches, is designed to maintain its original beauty for many years to come. The crown at 4 o'clock is designed for practicality and does not interfere with smooth movement of the wrist during active activities.
