From the GMC-B2100 series of full-metal chronographs, which inherit the octagonal form of the DW-5000C, comes a new model featuring a silver metallic vapor-deposited dial with black sub-dials, accentuating its sporty, monochromatic look.
The stainless steel bezel is three-dimensionally shaped through labor-intensive processes such as forging, machining, and polishing. The top bezel features a circular hairline finish, while the beveled edges are mirror-polished, creating a sophisticated metallic look. This design, which balances active performance with premium style, is perfect for everything from everyday wear to active pursuits.
To achieve a shock-resistant structure with an all-metal construction, a fine resin cushion is placed between the bezel and the case, combining shock resistance with a refined exterior. Additionally, the metal band pieces feature a dimpled finish, paying homage to the design of the original G-SHOCK’s resin band.
In terms of functionality, the watch connects to a dedicated app via Bluetooth® to retrieve accurate time information. It also boasts practical features such as Tough Solar and a high-intensity LED light. Production takes place at the “Yamagata Casio” factory—the birthplace of the original G-SHOCK.
