By using forged carbon, also used in high-end sports cars, for the case and dial of the EFK-100XPB and the dial of the EFK-100YCD, the watches express the world of luxurious sports cars that continue to evolve in pursuit of even greater performance, in a style that is uniquely EDIFICE.
Forged carbon is a composite material made by hardening carbon fibers with resin and molding it at high temperature and pressure. Compared to metal, it is lighter and more rigid, making it a material used in sports cars that demand high driving performance.
To incorporate an emotional drive system, like that of a car, into the heart of the watch, it is equipped with Casio's first mechanical movement.
The movement can be viewed through the see-through case back, allowing you to enjoy the unique charm of a mechanical watch.
All models in the EFK-100 series are equipped with sapphire crystal.
The EFK100XPB features a resin band with a three-fold clasp, while the EFK100YCD uses a solid stainless steel band.
