The Model B060 combines the brightness of a maximum aperture of F2.8 across the entire zoom range with the surprisingly compact and lightweight dimensions of 86.5mm in length and 335g in weight. Although it is a full-fledged ultra wide-angle zoom lens, its outstanding portability allows it to be used comfortably for video shooting with a small tripod or gimbal.

The 20mm telephoto end (equivalent to 30mm on a 35mm film camera), ideal for everyday use, is ideal for snapshots and commemorative shots, while the 11mm wide-angle end (equivalent to 16.5mm on a 35mm film camera) allows for powerful ultra-wide angle shots.

- Superior Optical Performance

The lens construction consists of 12 elements in 10 groups, with two GM (Glass Molded Aspherical) lenses in a well-balanced configuration to maintain high resolution performance throughout the entire image range. In addition, one special XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) lens and two LD (Low Dispersion) lenses are used to achieve clear image quality with excellent correction of various aberrations. Furthermore, the BBAR-G2 (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection Generation 2) coating, which suppresses ghosting and flare to an even greater extent than before, allows the photographer to capture the finest details of the subject even in backlit conditions.

The RXD stepping motor unit, developed by our company, is used to drive the AF system. The RXD is also extremely quiet, making it ideal for indoor shooting and other situations where noise is a concern.

The minimum focusing distance at the wide-angle end is 0.15m (11mm at the wide-angle end and 0.24m at the telephoto end), which far exceeds the close-up shooting capability of conventional ultra-wide-angle zoom lenses. With an astonishing maximum magnification of 1:4 (11mm at the wide-angle end), you can enjoy wide-angle macro photography that takes advantage of the perspective unique to ultra-wide-angle lenses, as well as expression that takes advantage of the bokeh effect created by the bright aperture F value of the large-aperture lens.
