Product Features
The first Carl Zeiss E-mount lens.
The black metal exterior and sophisticated design with a sense of condensation match the NEX-5N and NEX-7.
The lens is ideal for a wide range of shooting situations, including snapshots, landscapes, architecture, still life, and indoors, taking advantage of the wide-angle perspective, the beautiful background blur that only a large-aperture lens can produce, and macro photography (maximum magnification of 0.25x) with a minimum focusing distance of 16 cm.
Two aspherical lenses are positioned across the aperture to minimize distortion and coma aberration, and a single ED glass element is used to minimize distortion and coma aberration.
In addition, a single ED glass element is used for excellent correction of spherical aberration.
This ensures high contrast and resolution from the maximum aperture all the way to the corners of the image.
