Product Features
The MR-G series is G-SHOCK's highest-end line.
The MRG-B2100 is the MR-G created by adopting metallic materials and meticulously finishing the thin G-SHOCK model 2100 series.
The bezel, which has a complex shape, is made up of 27 parts, allowing each part to be polished to the finest detail, resulting in a higher quality finish.
The bezel top is made of pure titanium, and the bezel top is made of titanium.
The bezel top is made of COBARION*, which is approximately four times harder than pure titanium and is said to have a luster equivalent to platinum.
The fluorine rubber band, which is comfortable to wear, is made stronger by inserting titanium parts at the mating part with the case.
The front of the band is decorated with the Shock-Resist mark, symbolizing the first G-Shock, and the back of the band is decorated with the same brick pattern.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese “mokugumi” technique of assembling multiple parts, the watch features an index made by combining two parts and a lattice-shaped three-dimensional dial.
The dial, formed by high-precision micro-fabrication technology, is driven by light passing through the gaps in the latticework, which is received by the solar panel and generates electricity.
The design of the MRG-B2100R was inspired by the blue ink used in ink painting and calligraphy.
The dial has a blue vapor-deposited finish and is matched with a gold-colored second hand.
The bezel is based on diamond-like carbon black, with blue IP coating applied to the four corners.
In terms of functionality, the watch is also practical, with radio wave reception and mobile link functionality to link it to a smartphone.
The module is equipped with a dedicated MR-G module with a gold plated finish on the circuit holder plate.
