The MT-G series fuses resin and metal—the materials that gave rise to G-SHOCK—to pursue innovative structural beauty.
The MTG-B4000D features a Dual Core Guard structure with a frame that combines carbon and stainless steel, developed using AI that leverages accumulated shock-resistance data.
Through the collaborative efforts of AI and human designers, materials, structure, and form are organically combined to pursue a unique functional beauty. In this AI-driven development process, the AI analyzes the designer’s initial concepts and optimizes simulations; by repeating this iterative process in a mutually complementary manner, a design that balances functionality and beauty was achieved.
The carbon laminate frame is formed by machining a three-dimensional blank made of layered carbon and glass fiber sheets into a complex frame shape. The stainless steel bezel features a dual-bezel design with distinct inner and outer sections. Each section is finished with a combination of hairline and mirror finishes for a beautiful, refined appearance.
The band utilizes a layered composite construction combining stainless steel and carbon fiber-reinforced resin. This fusion of the metal’s robustness and the resin’s lightness delivers a substantial design while ensuring a comfortable fit. The watch also features TRIPLE G RESIST, which offers shock resistance, centrifugal force resistance, and vibration resistance. The case back is three-dimensionally formed using MIM (Metal Injection Molding), a process that injection-molds powdered metal, to protect the case.
Furthermore, high-transparency sapphire crystal is used, and the dial incorporates delicately designed parts created using the micro-machining technology of Casio’s Yamagata Factory, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
In terms of functionality, the watch connects to the dedicated “CASIO WATCHES Eapp via Bluetooth® to retrieve time information. It is also equipped with Multi-Band 6, Tough Solar, and a high-brightness LED light, offering a range of practical features.
