From the G-SHOCK line of rugged watches—which has continued to evolve in pursuit of unrelenting strength since its launch in 1983—comes a model featuring the traditional Japanese art of “origami” as its design motif.
Origami evolved with the invention of washi paper, renowned for its durability and beauty, and symbolizes the freedom of expression that allows anything to be created from paper.
We have infused G-SHOCK with that spirit and craftsmanship.
Featuring a unique design that meticulously recreates the characteristics of origami in every detail, from the bezel to the band.
The bezel and band feature two types of dotted patterns—“valley folds” and “mountain folds”—which are characteristic of origami, finished with a texture inspired by washi paper.
The backlight and case back feature a crane motif, a classic symbol of origami.
This represents the infinite possibilities born from a single sheet of paper.
The packaging also features a special design.
* Biomass plastic is used for the main resin parts of the bezel and band. Made from renewable organic resources, it is expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact.
