Product Features
An ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that brings a new shooting range to EF-S lens-compatible cameras, with an optical design that takes full advantage of the short back focus and small image circle that are the features of EF-S lenses. The optical design fully utilizes the advantages of the short back focus and small image circle, both of which are features of the F-S lens. Chromatic aberration is well corrected by the use of Super UD lenses in the optical system. In addition, the use of a combination of two GMo aspherical lenses and one replica aspherical lens provides good correction of various aberrations and high image quality throughout the entire zoom range.
