All lenses feature a new circular aperture. This allows for a more natural and beautiful bokeh effect that enhances the descriptive performance of the Limited Lenses.

Following the design concept of the "Limited Lens" series, the "taste of the lens" is pursued not only through numerical evaluation using test equipment, but also by repeatedly evaluating image quality through actual shooting and feeding the results back into the design process. The lens barrel, hood, and cap are made of high-grade machined aluminum, giving the lens a luxurious feel. The HD PENTAX- FA43mmF1.9 Limited also features a new cloisonne-glazed "finger point" that, like other limited lenses, makes it easier to mount on a camera body.
