The SIGMA 100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS Contemporary is designed exclusively for mirrorless cameras and achieves high optical performance. The fifth lens in the DG DN lineup further expands the range of photography with mirrorless cameras.
Lenses with an image circle designed for the 35mm format are designated with "DG," while lenses with a short flange back and optimally designed for mirrorless cameras are designated with "DN" in the product name.

The 16-group, 22-element lens construction includes 1 FLD and 4 SLD elements for excellent correction of various aberrations. The latest optical design and optimization for mirror-less systems have resulted in high resolution and uniform image quality right to the periphery. The lens maintains stable and high optical performance at all focal lengths, including the intermediate focal range from the wide end to the telephoto end, and under all conditions from long distance to close-up photography, demonstrating the true value of a zoom lens. Furthermore, by using the SIGMA TELE CONVERTER TC-1411 or TC-2011 (sold separately, for L mount only), newly developed exclusively for mirrorless lenses, you can obtain an ultra-telephoto focal length of up to 800mm while maximizing the compactness of the system. The TC-1411 and TC-2011 (for L-mount only, sold separately) allow you to maximize the compactness of the system and obtain a maximum focal length of 800 mm.
