Product Features

The first interchangeable lens for the "X series" digital cameras, this is a bright telephoto lens with a maximum aperture of 2.0.

The FUJINON lens technology used in the broadcast and cinema industries delivers high resolution and rich bokeh.

Combined with the FUJINON teleconverter sold as a set, the lens covers an ultra-telephoto focal length of 280mm (equivalent to 427mm on a 35mm film camera) (*F value 2.8).

- High resolution and rich bokeh effect

The lens is equipped with a large-aperture lens (a lens using fluorite, which features low light transmittance and low wavelength dispersion of the refractive index) machined to an accuracy of 0.1 μm or less, utilizing the superior optical design technology cultivated by FUJINON Lens, the industry leader in 4K/8K-compatible broadcast-use lenses and other products. The 14-group, 19-element configuration, including one large-aperture super ED lens and two large-aperture ED lenses that rival the performance of fluorite lenses, achieves high resolution by suppressing chromatic aberration to the utmost limit.

The bright maximum aperture of 2.0 and a focal length of 200mm (equivalent to 305mm in 35mm format) provide a rich bokeh effect for outstanding descriptive power.

- Various functions for comfortable AF operation

A new focus preset function* allows the focus to be instantly shifted to a pre-set position using the SET button. This allows you to comfortably shoot without having to readjust the focus to the targeted subject.

Equipped with a focus limiter that limits the range of the lens drive when focusing, enabling the user to shorten the lens drive time when shooting a subject at a distance of 5 m or more, thereby achieving high-speed AF. The focus limiter can be activated with the shooting distance range switch.

A focus control button is placed at the tip of the lens barrel*. The focus select switch allows you to assign your favorite function to the button for comfortable operation of AF and focus lock.

(*Firmware update of the camera body is required to activate the focus preset function and focus control button. The firmware will be released in conjunction with the release of this product.)

- Powerful image stabilization performance

The camera has a CIPA-compliant image stabilization performance of 5.0 stops. This enables hand-held shooting with telephoto lenses, which are susceptible to camera shake. The camera also recognizes shooting conditions, such as when shooting with a streaming camera or fixed on a tripod, and automatically performs the optimal control.

- Fast, silent, and highly accurate AF

The lightweight focus lens group and linear motors enable fast, quiet, and highly accurate AF. In addition, a mechanical mechanism is employed to hold the focus motor group in place when the power is turned off or when playing back photos taken. This mechanism suppresses unnecessary vibration, just as it does during shooting.

- Toughness to withstand a variety of shooting environments

The lens body is newly colored matte silver to suppress the rise in temperature inside the lens under the hot sun. In addition, a light-scattering coating is applied to suppress light reflected from the lens body.

A magnesium alloy is used to create a lightweight and robust body. In addition, the lens barrel is sealed in 17 places to make it dustproof, drip-proof, and resistant to temperatures as low as -10°C. The front lens bead is coated with a fluorine coating to repel water and dirt, demonstrating its high level of toughness. The lens is also water and dirt repellant, making it safe to use even in light rain or dusty outdoor environments.

- Arca-Swiss compatible tripod mount for compatibility with a wide range of photographic equipment

Arca Swiss compatible tripod mounts are used. In addition, the X-Pro1 is equipped with 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch tripod screws, making it compatible with a wide range of professional equipment.

- High-performance teleconverter "XF1.4X TC F2 WR

The XF1.4X TC F2 WR is a high-performance teleconverter that increases the focal length by 1.4 times while maximizing the high optical performance of the main lens. It is specially designed to compensate for aberrations and is compatible with a maximum aperture of 2.0 of the main lens.

When used in combination with "XF200mmF2 R LM OIS WR" and "XF1.4X TC F2 WR", the lens can cover a focal length of 280mm (equivalent to 427mm in 35mm format) (*F open aperture 2.8), further expanding your shooting range.
