As an interchangeable lens for the L-mount, we have developed a control algorithm that optimizes the AF drive system and communication speed to achieve high-speed AF, as well as full support for AF-C mode, in-camera image stabilization mechanism, and in-camera aberration correction function.
In addition to the high-speed AF, the AF-C mode, in-camera image stabilization, and in-camera aberration correction are fully supported.
- In-camera image stabilization
The camera body's image stabilization function is supported. The camera automatically recognizes the focal length of each lens for optimal image stabilization.
- Equipped with "Lens Compensation" data
The camera is fully compatible with the in-body aberration correction functions "Lens Compensation" (Vignetting Compensation, Lateral Chromatic Aberration Compensation, and Distortion Compensation). Corrections tailored to the optical characteristics of the lens enable further improvement of image quality.
- Rigidity achieved by the native mount
The native mount provides a high degree of rigidity that could not be achieved with a mount adapter. The brass mount, which has been surface-treated to enhance its strength, provides a high degree of precision and robustness. The mount joints are rubber-sealed to protect against dust and drips.
- Compatible with Mount Exchange Service
The camera is compatible with the "Mount Exchange Service," which allows you to change the specifications of the camera to your desired mount. If you purchase a new camera body in the future, you can "fix" your favorite lenses to match the new camera body, and use them for a long time without being restricted by the camera system.
