From G-SHOCK's G-STEEL, the GST-B400XD features a carbon bezel.
The carbon bezel is a combination of carbon fiber reinforced resin and carbon sheet, and a stainless steel band is used. The dial is colored blue for a cool impression. The base model GST-B400 features smaller parts, thinner modules, and lower power consumption, and maintains the high functionality of Bluetooth® and solar power while reducing its thickness. In addition, the carbon core guard construction makes it the thinnest in the G-STEEL series (as of March 2021) while maintaining shock resistance. In terms of design, the G-STEEL series features large buttons that are easy to press despite its slimness, and the dial is made of three-dimensional parts. The G-STEEL combines metal, resin, and carbon materials to achieve both toughness and design.
