- Optical performance that meets the requirements of high-end cine lenses
Axial chromatic aberration and lateral chromatic aberration are corrected to the utmost limit by effectively arranging three FLD glass elements and three SLD glass elements. The focus plane is sharply formed from the aperture release, and the contrast between the out-of-focus area and the out-of-focus area makes the three-dimensional effect of the subject stand out. The lens is the ultimate large-aperture lens, combining resolution for 8K and beyond with beautiful fade-out effects.

- Designed for use in any environment
The lens features a water- and stain-repellent coating on the frontmost surface of the lens, as well as a dust- and drip-proof construction with sealing in various areas, to demonstrate its capabilities even in the harshest of shooting environments. The high-speed AF of the ultrasonic motor HSM, which uses the latest algorithms, responds to instantaneous shutter release opportunities.

Thorough measures against flare and ghosting were taken from the initial stage of lens design, and the lens is designed to be less susceptible to strong incident light, such as backlighting. The Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting and provides high-contrast images even when shooting in backlit conditions. The included flower-shaped hood effectively cuts out harmful light that can adversely affect the lens's rendering and prevents internal reflections from occurring.
