G-SQUAD" is the sports line of G-SHOCK. The white base color and skeleton resin are used to create a color scheme that is enjoyable for activity.
In terms of functionality, the G-SQUAD is linked to the GPS function of a smartphone via Bluetooth® connection, and compensates for distance measurement using an acceleration sensor. By linking distance measurement with running time measurement, it is possible to measure running pace, and it is also equipped with an auto-lap function. In combination with the conventional step tracker, interval timer, lap time measurement, and calorie consumption measurement, the device supports daily training.
The dedicated application can also be used to check the lifelog and activity history, and automatically create a training plan. The display features a high-definition MIP LCD and is equipped with a super illuminator. The band is made of soft urethane material for a better fit and has a large number of holes for fine adjustment.
Furthermore, a battery life of approximately 2 years is realized even when using multiple functions on a daily basis. It is useful for a wide range of purposes, from daily health management to endurance enhancement for running, as well as a fashion item.
