This model embodies the “SLEEK STYLE,” a new design that inherits the rugged construction and design philosophy rooted in functional beauty that G-SHOCK has cultivated over many years, and reimagines them through a refined, minimalist aesthetic.
The bezel, stripped of logos for a clean look, features three distinct finishes—vertical hairline, circular hairline, and mirror—that shift in appearance depending on the angle of the light, creating a rich texture.
The stainless steel band, developed specifically for the GST-B1000, features both hairline and mirror finishes.
The newly developed triple-fold clasp features an elegant design and secure hold.
Its understated presence lends an air of sophistication to the wrist.
The bezel design and brick pattern, inherited from the first-generation G-SHOCK “DW-5000C,” add a touch of sportiness to a dressy ensemble.
The GST-B1000D-1AJF features accent colors inherited from the original model: red, symbolizing the passion for challenge; blue, representing water resistance; and yellow, signifying shock resistance.
Structurally, the metal bezel guards against external impacts, while the carbon fiber-reinforced resin case protects the module.
Additionally, urethane resin cushioning parts are used at the metal band joints to absorb shocks and enhance the strength of the metal band connections.
Furthermore, by employing a glass bonding method and a compact module, the watch achieves a shock-resistant structure while reducing thickness and weight.
