The G-SQUAD sports line from G-SHOCK is the GBD-H2000 series equipped with a heart rate monitor and GPS functions.
In addition to distance, speed, pace, and other measurements, the G-SQUAD is equipped with an optical sensor capable of measuring heart rate, an acceleration sensor capable of measuring the number of steps taken, a gyro sensor for judging swimming technique and turns when swimming, and direction, altitude/barometric pressure, and temperature sensors. In addition to running, the device can be used for bicycling, swimming, and other multi-sport activities. It is also capable of analyzing training and recovery from sleep.
The urethane bezel and band are made of biomass plastic. The design features a curved back to reduce interference with the back of the hand, textured buttons for easy operation, and a high-resolution MIP LCD with high visibility.
