This lens meets Leica's strict optical standards and achieves an F2.8-4.0 "ELMARIT" brightness, allowing you to enjoy beautiful bokeh out-of-focus effects. Four aspherical lens elements and two ED lens elements are used, and their optimum placement ensures excellent descriptive performance throughout the entire zoom range. The nano-surface coating reduces ghosting and flare.

The lens can be used in a wide range of situations, from dynamic landscapes and indoor wide-angle photography to portrait photography with beautiful bokeh.
