G-SHOCK MT-G Series
- The MT-G series pursues innovative structural beauty by fusing metal materials with resin materials, the origin of G-SHOCK, based on a unique design concept.
The MTG-B3000 further evolves the “Dual Core Guard Structure” in which the module is protected by a carbon-reinforced resin case and the outside is covered by metal parts.
- The stainless steel back cover is formed into a complex three-dimensional shape through several processes of pressing, cutting, and polishing.
The new structure and design challenge the back cover to hold the lugs that secure the band, the crown guard, and the button guard, while also achieving a smaller and thinner design.
In addition, by developing a thin multi-function module using high-density mounting technology, the distance from the back cover to the bezel is 12.1 mm, which is significantly thinner than existing MT-G models.
Furthermore, the one-push interchangeable band structure makes it easy to replace the band without tools by pressing the button on the lugs between the two sides of the band.
- The stainless steel bezel is coated with black IP and then re-finished with a hairline finish, exposing only the top surface.
A black soft urethane band is used for the band, and the red color of the face stands out against the monotone silver and black body.
- The dial is delicately shaped by Casio's Yamagata Plant's microfabrication technology and vapor-deposited for a high quality finish.
- In terms of functionality, the watch uses Bluetooth(R) communication to connect with the dedicated CASIO WATCHES application and acquire time information.
The watch is also equipped with practical functions such as Multi Band 6, Tough Solar, and a high-luminance LED light.
