G-SHOCK MT-G Series Scattered Nebula Motif Design Model
- The MT-G series pursues innovative structural beauty by fusing resin and metal materials, the origin of G-SHOCK.
The MTG-B3000DN was designed with a motif of a diffuse nebula shining in the vastness of space.
- The stainless steel bezel is coated with a blue and purple gradation I P coating, and the indexes and dial parts are also decorated with multi-colors inspired by nebulae.
The band is made of black soft urethane material mixed with multi-colored aluminum material, and the stainless steel parts of the band have a blue and purple IP coating to represent shining stars.
- The MTG-B3000 series features a “dual core guard structure” with a carbon-reinforced plastic case protecting the module and metal parts covering the outside.
The stainless steel back cover is formed into a complex three-dimensional shape using several processes of pressing, cutting, and polishing.
The challenge was to create a structure in which the lugs that hold the band in place, the crown guard, and the button guard are also placed on the back of the watch, thus achieving a compact and thin design.
In addition, by adopting a thin multi-function module using high-density mounting technology, the watch is significantly thinner than existing MT-G models, measuring 12.1 mm from the back cover to the bezel.
- In terms of functionality, the watch uses Bluetooth(R) communication to connect with the dedicated CASIO WATCHES application to acquire time information.
The watch is also equipped with practical functions such as Multi Band 6, Tough Solar, and a high-luminance LED light.
