Product Features
The MR-G series is G-SHOCK's highest-end line.
The MRG-B2100 is the MR-G created by adopting metallic materials and meticulously finishing the thin G-SHOCK model 2100 series.
The bezel top is made of COBARION*1, which is approximately four times harder than pure titanium and is said to have a luster equivalent to platinum, and the band is made of DAT55G*2, a titanium alloy with high hardness and excellent workability.
The case and bezel are made of 64 titanium, a titanium alloy with high hardness.
The bezel, which has a complex shape, is made up of 27 parts, allowing polishing to be applied to every detail of each part, resulting in a higher quality finish.
The bezel has a beautiful mirror surface with a high degree of smoothness, and TIC coating is applied to enhance wear resistance.
The multi-part structure is used to enhance strength by providing buffers between the parts.
Inspired by the traditional Japanese technique of “wooden assembly,” in which a number of parts are assembled together, the indexes are made by combining two parts of the face, and a three-dimensional lattice dial is used.
The lattice-shaped three-dimensional dial, formed by high-precision micro-fabrication technology, is driven by light passing through the gaps between the latticework and the solar panel, which receives the light and generates electricity.
In terms of functionality, the watch is also practical, with radio wave reception and mobile link functions that allow it to be linked to a smartphone.
The module is equipped with a dedicated MR-G module with gold plating on the circuit holding plate.
