"AKA-ZONAE"
AKA-ZONAE refers to a unit formation of the Warring States period in which armaments were uniformly painted in vermilion.
Because it stood out on the battlefield, it was often used for elite units led by warlords who excelled in valor, and names such as Takeda's army and Sanada's army have been handed down as legends.
Red, a symbol of strength, is used for the MRG-B2000B-1A4JR.
Red, a symbol of strength since ancient times, is reproduced in the traditional Japanese color "Kokibeni" (deep red).
The engraving on the bezel and various parts of the dial are designed to express the strength of the G-Shock brand, which has survived through the ages, by overlapping the image of black and red, the brand colors of the G-Shock brand.
The front screws and crown are coated with gold IP inspired by the armor of warriors.
Dial design expressing Japanese aesthetics
The outer periphery of the dial features cut surfaces reminiscent of a fan or folding screen.
The indexes have a curved shape reminiscent of a warped Japanese sword, and Yamagata Casio's nanofabrication technology has been used to create edgy shapes and concave surfaces.
The hour and minute hands are made of lightweight, high-strength carbon material to withstand the shock of being dropped.
