The lens focuses on rendering power that is perfectly usable from the widest aperture. In addition to achieving high resolving power from maximum aperture throughout the entire focus range, the lens also focuses on the beauty of the large bokeh effect of F1.2. The lens is significantly compact and lightweight, and is equipped with a full range of features that are adaptable to professional use, including high-precision AF using a new HLA system that reduces volume while maintaining thrust.

Designed with emphasis on high resolving power from the maximum aperture to the full focus range and large, beautiful bokeh expression.
