OCEANUS “Manta” Model with faceted cut sapphire glass bezel
- Under the brand concept of “Elegance, Technology,” OCEANUS “Manta” pursues high-quality finishing and a thin, beautiful form.
- The bezel is made of thick sapphire glass with 24 faceted cuts designed for brilliance, forming a polygonal shape.
The coloring is based on
blue-black gradation deposition, with evaporation and sputtering processes applied multiple times and in complex ways so that the beautiful transparent blue can be enjoyed from every angle, with an image of colors reminiscent of the azure sea.
The bezel is made of sapphire glass, which is scratch-resistant to ensure long-lasting brilliance.
The laser-engraving of city codes also adds to its functionality.
- A jet-black mirrored dial is used to enhance the beauty of the bezel and improve legibility.
This was made possible by the use of an in-dial solar panel.
For the first time in the OCEANUS line, the hour and minute hands are trapezoidal in cross section and cut on three sides.
The top surface has a hairline finish and both sides are mirror-finished.
The case is designed in such a way that the bezel is supported by four lugs composed of sharp surfaces that accentuate the bezel.
The case and band are covered with titanium carbide with a distinctive silver shine to strengthen the surfaces.
- In addition to time correction by the watch itself using the radio wave reception function, the watch is equipped with a time correction function by smartphone link using Bluetooth.
The smartphone link function allows the user to easily and intuitively set the world time from approximately 300 cities or
automatically change the time zone or daylight savings time.

clock operation.
