Product Description
The G-SHOCK 40th Anniversary Flare Red is a limited edition model of G-SHOCK, which has been pursuing toughness since its birth in 1983 and will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2023.
Based on the concept of the powerful solar flare, the newly developed technology is designed in G-SHOCK's brand colors of black and red. The bezel features a multi-colored carbon insert bezel molded from layers of carbon and glass fiber. The glass fiber sheet containing luminescent particles, inspired by the enormous explosive power of solar flares, is used to give the watch a strong presence even in the dark. Each bezel part has a different pattern, and no two bezel parts are the same. It combines light weight and high strength while having a unique look.
The solar flare pattern is also printed on the dial, and the case back is engraved with the 40th logo by graphic artist Eric Hayes, who also designed the G-Shock 25th, 30th, and 35th logos.
The star mark, which represents the number "40," is engraved on the ring.
