Product Features
G-SHOCK and BABY-G have collaborated with various environmental organizations since the late 1990s to create special edition models and provide ongoing support.
Under the theme “Love The Sea And The Earth,” they support ICERC Japan, an organization dedicated to conveying the wonders of nature through dolphins and whales.
The 2025 theme features the “Humpback Whale” and the “Bottlenose Dolphin.”
Featuring contrasting white and blue colors, the designs express the open ocean and coastal waters where these creatures swim using different shades of blue.
G-SHOCK adopted the humpback whale, characterized by its large pectoral fins, as its design motif.
Its two-tone body color is expressed with a high-contrast color scheme, overlaying the deep blue with the image of the open ocean where humpback whales migrate.
Silhouettes adorn the front button, bezel, and LCD (when the LED backlight is on), while the dial features a printed pattern inspired by the stripes on the belly.
BABY-G adopts the “Bottlenose Dolphin” as its design motif, known for its round head and adorable expression.
White, representing its body color, is the main color, while the band's light blue expresses the coastal waters where bottlenose dolphins live.
Furthermore, the sub-dial ring (at the 6 o'clock position) is designed to resemble the bubble ring created by the snub-nosed dolphin, featuring a vivid blue color.
The bezel features a silhouette print of the dolphin swimming energetically.
Both models feature the “ICERC Japan” logo printed on the band and the “Love The Sea And The Earth” symbol engraved on the case back.
Furthermore, the bezel and main resin parts of the band utilize biomass plastic, which is expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact.
Functionally, it features Tough Solar powered by environmentally friendly sunlight and radio wave reception that automatically corrects the time by receiving signals from six standard stations worldwide.
Additionally, the packaging is a special specification using recycled materials.
This is a special model adorned with adorable silhouettes throughout.
