G-SHOCK Digital-Analog Combination Model

- Since its 1983 launch, the G-SHOCK toughness watch has continuously evolved in pursuit of ultimate strength.
Now, inheriting the concept of the original “DW-5000C” model, a further slimmed-down
digital-analog combination model arrives.
It inherits the octagonal form also used in the original “DW-5000C” model.
We developed this combination model with a simple design that eliminates excess while maintaining its tough construction.

- The case material utilizes carbon fiber-infused fine resin for high rigidity,
achieving a thickness of 11.8mm—the thinnest among G-SHOCK combination models.
Inheriting the DNA of the original G-SHOCK model while meticulously focusing on design, form, and size,
this model represents the next-generation standard for G-SHOCK.

Octagon Bezel
The bezel adopts the octagonal design motif carried over from the first model. Rather than a perfect octagon, extending the length of the top and bottom sides creates a stable silhouette, expressing the characteristic strength of G-SHOCK.

Slim Design
Utilizing the latest toughness structure with carbon-reinforced resin, the case thickness is minimized to the extreme, achieving a slim profile. The side design pays homage to the original model, featuring button placement, shoulder contouring, and strap attachment angles reminiscent of the first generation.

Three-Dimensional Dial
The dial employs three-dimensional molding for depth. It features a bezel with minute markings, raised indices, and a balanced layout for the mode dial and irregularly shaped LCD. This spacious arrangement creates a simple, highly legible face.

Monochrome Color Scheme
Features a fashion-forward color palette. The GA-2100-4AJF utilizes nine shades of red, including newly developed hues. Each component—exterior, dial, bezel, hands, LCD, and buckle—employs a distinct tone, pursuing overall unity while enhancing the texture of the details.

Carbon Core Guard Structure
Protects the module with a carbon fiber reinforced resin case. Leveraging carbon's lightweight, high-strength, and weather-resistant properties, it achieves a slim case by ensuring shock resistance within the minimum necessary size.

The Pursuit of Thinness
Pursuing even greater thinness while meeting unique shock resistance standards. Reinforced exterior structure and thinner modules resulted in a slim 11.8mm case—the thinnest G-SHOCK digital-analog combination model at the time of release.

Thin Module
Miniaturized components, optimized circuit board layout, and high-density mounting technology enabled a thinner module. Combined with the Carbon Core Guard structure, this contributed to a smaller, slimmer case size.

Double LED Light
High-brightness LEDs vividly illuminate the dial and LCD, providing excellent visibility in dark environments.

Slide Lever
Simple lever operation allows easy band attachment and removal, aiding in maintenance tasks like cleaning.

Shock-Resistant + 20 ATM Water Resistance
Features a shock-resistant structure resistant to impacts and vibrations. Also equipped with 20 ATM water resistance, enabling use in diverse locations and situations.
